Define a map point

  1. Access the properties for the Map widget.
  2. On the Series tab, click Add Point.

    The New Map Point dialog box is displayed.

  3. On the General tab, adjust the following:
    • Description — type a description of the point.
    • Image — click Choose an icon, and specify an icon.
    • Size — specify the size of the point. Choose from the following:
      • Small
      • Medium
      • Large
      • Extra Large
    • Series Color — specify the point color.
    • Label — click and construct a query as necessary.
      To display the label value with the map point, select Add Label to Map Point.
    • Latitude — click and construct a query as necessary.
    • Longitude — click and construct a query as necessary.
    • Node — click and construct a query as necessary.
    • Group By — click and construct a query as necessary.
    To turn off context for a map field populated by a statement, click the Make Column Provide Context or Not button .
  4. On the Tooltips tab, adjust the following:
    • Use Label as Header — select the check box if you want to use the label defined on the General page as the header.
    • Header — click and construct a query as necessary.
    • Lines — click Add Statement and construct a query as necessary.
    • Show k/mil — select the check box to display k/mil.
    To turn off context for a map field populated by a statement, click the Make Column Provide Context or Not button .
  5. On the Advanced tab, adjust the following:
    • Conditions — click Add Statement and then construct a query as necessary.
    • Sort By — click Add Statement and then construct a query as necessary.
    • Only select the top [value] records — select the check box to select only a specified number of records with the highest values.
  6. On the Events tab, adjust the following:
    • Add Event Handler — add an event. Do the following:
      • For When/On, select Double-Clicked.
      • For Then, select an app board.
  7. Click OK.
